Before the admission interview, students in Business and Economics are asked to read the introductory statement below, to check a box confirming they have read the statement, and to hand the form to their interviewers. (Students in Arts and Science are asked to read a similar statement, but with different dates.)

Please read the following statement carefully before your co-op admission interview:
* We evaluate your work experience, volunteer service and extracurricular activities through the interview only, not from your resume.
At the end of the interview we will ask you to tell us anything you wish to add in support of your application. Be sure to tell us about any accomplishments or experience you have not had an opportunity to mention earlier. Special Note: Your interview is your only opportunity to tell us about your experience in each category. When considering the information you provide in the interview about your work and volunteer and extracurricular activities, we consider what you did, the time commitment involved, and how you performed in the interview to provide this information. We rank most highly those students who are able to articulate leadership roles, positions of responsibility, and/or experience in an office or professional environment, while maintaining a consistent level of involvement and a full work record from grade 11 through the end of Orientation Week. We are able to consider extenuating circumstances only if you submitted the request form and letter before your interview.
