Insurance - It's not what you think...it's a whole lot more!
What are you looking for in a summer job, internship, or ultimately your career?
Building relationships? Variety? Working with data? Stability? Making decisions or solving problems? Opportunity to challenge yourself and advance? If you answered yes to any of these, insurance might be for you!
25,000 industry professionals are expected to retire in the next 5 years. So, there is definitely opportunity for talented, creative, and motivated people to join this vital and stable sector!
You might think that insurance is focused solely on sales. It's not.
Insurance touches virtually everything we do and is at the forefront of game changing issues– climatic change, the sharing economy (e.g. Uber and Air BnB), cyber security, and big data to name a few. So, the industry needs a wide array of professionals in marketing, risk analysis, claims management, investigations, underwriting, actuarial, sales, and loss prevention…Not to mention roles in finance, data science and analytics, IT, HR, accounting, and operations to meet the needs of consumers.
Join us on February 13th from 2:00 – 4:00 pm to learn more, connect, and network with leading employers in the region. Check back in January for the list of confirmed employer participants.
