Registration Deadline: Mar 30, 2023 12:00 PM

This session is hosted in partnership with the Indigenous Student Centre. Registration is open to all students.

Indigenous entrepreneurship involves the creation and development of new ventures by Indigenous people for the benefit of Indigenous people. Indigenous entrepreneurship offers a pathway to economic reconciliation and self-determination at the individual and community levels. There are over 60,000 Indigenous-owned businesses in Canada, and this number is expected to grow rapidly in the coming years.

Attend the Indigenous Entrepreneurship panel to hear from successful Indigenous entrepreneurs making waves in and beyond their communities.

This event is presented virtually and is open to all students. Students identifying as Indigenous are invited to the Indigenous Student Centre where the panel will be streamed.

Panelists include:
  • Kaity Adams, Founder and Owner of Adams Family Ink and Boutique

  • Mark Marsolais-Nahwegahbow, Founder of Birch Bark Coffee Co.
