The academic job market can be difficult to navigate. Early preparation is essential for advancement within the professional academic arena.  This workshop will explore the academic labour market and factors tied to success, and provide an overview of how best to promote yourself and build your reputation and academic connections.

This workshop is a key component of Laurier's ASPIRE Professionalization Program and the Career Development Certificate for students in graduate and professional programs.

Attend a minimum of three of the career planning or employment preparation workshops for graduate students offered at any Laurier campus to earn your Career Development Certificate for Students in Graduate & Professional Programs. Your certificate will become a valuable part of your Co-curricular Record and supplement your official transcripts.
