International Experience Canada Program Information Session (How to work abroad!)

Join us on Thursday, November 21 from 10 - 11 a.m. at the Career Centre to learn about International Experience Canada (IEC), a Government of Canada travel and work mobility program for Canadian and foreign youth, aged 18 to 35. A representative of the program will be sharing details on how you can participate and how to get a work permit to work and travel abroad!

Explore the world, imagine the possibilities. Are you looking for your next adventure? Want to work and travel in some of the most beautiful locations in the world? Imagine…
- taking your lunch break at the best ramen noodle house in Tokyo.
- going on an early morning jog along the Emperor's Canal in Amsterdam.
- backpacking through the luscious rainforests of Costa Rica.
- unwinding on the beaches of Australia after work.

IEC gives you the opportunity to do just that. Their agreements with foreign countries and territories make it easier for you to get work permits with their partners. Work abroad to help fund the trip of a lifetime. Gain new skills, learn new languages, experience different cultures and explore places that you never thought you could.

For more information on the IEC and the application process, visit www.canada.gc.ca/iec-eic.

This event is presented in collaboration with Laurier International.
