This event is being hosted with Human Resources Laurier (HRL)
Join us as we welcome guests who will share their career experiences and advice. Attending this event is a great way to learn about potential career options and expand your professional network.
Speakers include:
Boski Verma, HRPA (Human Resources Professionals Association)
Boski Verma is the manager of Student and Volunteer Engagement at HRPA, the largest HR association in Canada. She received her post-secondary education from York University and has experience in Human Resources, Talent Management, and Marketing.
Christine Holman, RLB LLP
Christine Holman received her CHRP from the Human Resources Professionals Association and currently holds a position as an HR Generalist at RLB LLP. She completed her Double Degree in Business Administration and Mathematics from Wilfrid Laurier University and the University of Waterloo.
Erik Reed, KPMG
Erik Reed completed his Bachelor of Sport Management from Brock University, received his Human Resources Management Graduate Certificate from Conestoga College and his CHRP accreditation. Reed currently holds a position at KPMG as the Talent Attraction Manager. His work includes managing full-cycle campus recruitment for Audit, Tax, and Advisory practices in Ontario and Atlantic Canada.
Monique Van Veen, Thomas International Inc.
Monique Van Veen is a Senior Consultant at Thomas International Inc. She works with her clients to help them improve the quality of hire, and increase retention, leadership effectiveness and overall productivity. She completed her undergraduate degree in Honours Kinesiology from Western University.
Melanie Wyndowe, McMaster University
Melanie completed her undergraduate degree in Business Administration with co-op at Wilfrid Laurier University and completed her MBA at the University of Toronto Rotman School of Management. Her current position is Relationship Manager, Career and Professional Development MBA at Degroote School of Business at McMaster University.
