This event is intended for Master's and PhD students and postdoctoral fellows.
Start where you are: setting a game plan for the coming months
Whether you have clear ideas about your career path or are still wondering what is next for you, this workshop will allow participants to learn how to gather relevant information, insights and resources to explore opportunities and how to develop a plan to get there.
This session will introduce practical strategies and resources to assist you in conducting the necessary self-reflection and research to identify ideal work environments, optimal job satisfiers and realistic goals for pursuing an academic or post-academic career. This session will help to identify what you might be interested in.
This workshop will be online. The consultant delivering the session will email you a link at least one hour before the start of the workshop to join at the scheduled time.
Registration deadline is 3 p.m. the day before the workshop.
This workshop is a key component of Laurier's ASPIRE Professionalization Program and the Career Development Certificate.
Attend five career planning and employment preparation workshops for graduate students offered at any Laurier campus, to earn your Career Development Certificate for Students in Graduate & Professional Programs. Your certificate will become a valuable part of your Laurier Experience Record and supplement your official transcripts.
