Thrive in the Workplace - Preparing yourself for the workplace
Whether you have a job lined up for the summer, are starting a new position soon, or just want to gain insight into the workforce, this workshop offers tips to help you thrive in the workplace. We'll cover strategies for success, how to evaluate workplace culture, discuss imposter syndrome, provide workplace checklists and more.
This workshop will be online. Register your attendance to receive the event link prior to the session.
This session qualifies for the Engagement and Employability Certificate.
Attend three workshops and participate in career development activities and events to earn the certificate, a valuable addition to your resumé and Laurier Experience Record:

- Network with Confidence
- Complete a Mock Interview: Practice Makes Perfect - book an interview skills appointment with a Career Consultant
- Conduct an Informational Interview: Build Your Network - complete on your own and fill out a short questionnaire in Navigator.
- Engage: Experience Events - attend three Career Centre events i.e., Career Fair, Job Fair, Career Centre Speaker Panels, Employer Recruiting Sessions, Further Education Fair
