Building Confidence: Overcoming Self-Doubt in Your Career Journey
Do you hesitate to apply for new roles or doubt your abilities in your current position? It's common to compare ourselves to others and question our qualifications, but this mindset can be a significant barrier to professional growth and satisfaction.
In this workshop, participants will embark on a transformative journey to boost their self-confidence and minimize the habit of unfavourable comparisons. This interactive session offers practical tools and strategies to recognize and amplify personal achievements and capabilities. By fostering a positive self-image and understanding the value of their unique contributions, attendees will learn to navigate their career paths with assurance and determination.
This session qualifies as an event for the Engagement and Employability Certificate.

- Network with Confidence
- Complete a Mock Interview: Practice Makes Perfect - book an interview skills appointment with a Career Consultant
- Conduct an Informational Interview: Build Your Network - complete on your own and fill out a short questionnaire in Navigator.
- Engage: Experience Events - attend three Career Centre events i.e., Job Fair, Career Centre Speaker Panels, Employer Recruiting Sessions, Further Education Fair
