Competency Identification and Articulation Workshop
Discover Your Strengths
Do you know what competencies you have and what employers are seeking? Align your competencies with your career development goals in this hands-on workshop. You will be able to identify and assess your personal competencies, identify areas for development and learn how to showcase the value of your experiences to an employer.
This workshop will be online. Register your attendance to receive the event link prior to the session.
This session qualifies for the Engagement and Employability Certificate.
Attend three workshops and participate in career development activities and events to earn the certificate, a valuable addition to your resumé and Laurier Experience Record:

- Network with Confidence
- Complete a Mock Interview: Practice Makes Perfect - book an interview skills appointment with a Career Consultant
- Conduct an Informational Interview: Build Your Network - complete on your own and fill out a short questionnaire in Navigator.
- Engage: Experience Events - attend three Career Centre events i.e., Job Fair, Career Centre Speaker Panels, Employer Recruiting Sessions, Further Education Fair
