Plan Ahead for Master's Programs

Are you curious about master's degrees, but not sure about the key differences between them or what to expect? We're here to help! This session highlights the key aspects and differences between research-based and course-based master's programs and will help you prepare for master's programs applications.

In this workshop, you will learn learn how to: 

  • Find different master's programs that align with your interests and goals.
  • Gain relevant experiences.
  • Develop academics and/or professional references to support your applications.
  • Plan for the graduate application process.

This session is ideal for students who are curious about graduate school and want to take a proactive approach to their planning. 

BONUS: Get tips and advice from alumni answering the most frequently asked questions that will help you plan ahead with confidence and clarity.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This session does not cover post-graduate professional programs, such as social work, teaching, medicine, rehabilitative sciences, etc. Please see the full 'Plan Ahead for Further Ed. Week' calendar to find details about the other sessions.
