Applicant Information Sessions

We invite first-year students to attend an information session early in the winter term. After the session, you may view slides from the presentation. You may also learn more about Laurier Co-op by viewing the most recent co-op brochure.

Arts Co-op and Science Co-op

If you are a first-year student in Honours Arts or Honours Science who might apply to co-op, please read slides from the applicant infornation sessions that were held in March 2019. 

Business and Economics Co-op

If you are a first-year student in honours Business or Honours Economics who might apply for co-op, please read slides from applicant information sessions that we held in January 2019. You will learn key details about when and how to apply for admission to co-op in 2019. The session includes information about the competitive admission process and suggestions on preparing for the admission interview. We will also answer any questions you may have. You will be able to register online once we have scheduled the sessions.

Double Degree Programs, Laurier

Students in double degree programs at Laurier are offered automatic entry to co-op.

Double Degree Programs, Laurier and Waterloo

  • Business (Laurier) and Computer Science (UWaterloo) 
  • Business (Laurier) and Mathematics (UWaterloo)

Enrolment in co-op is compulsory for first-year students in double degree programs in Business at Laurier and Computer Science or Mathematics at the University of Waterloo.

Bachelor of Technology Management Program, Brantford

All students who meet the requirements of the BTM program are offered automatic entry to co-op.

Professional Experience Program (PEP)

The Professional Experience Program (PEP), which is available to students Honours Computer Science, includes a work term lasting from 12 to 16 months. Students normally pursue work terms in areas such as programming, networking technology, quality assurance, technical support or information technology consulting. PEP students complete their work term after third year and return to Laurier for their final year of study. Follow this link to view slides from the information for students interested in PEP.
