Co-op students are eligible to apply for Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) loans during their study terms, and can apply for full-time funding when taking courses while completing their work term.

Please review the Co-op Funding section on Laurier's Financial Aid website for information about eligibility requirements and the OSAP application process.

Please review the Maintaining Interest-Free Status section. In order to maintain interest-free status for previous full-time Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) loans, you must be confirmed with the National Student Loan Service Centre (NSLSC) as a registered full-time student.

When choosing a co-op sequence, please note that the Ontario government has regulations restricting the number of academic terms for which OSAP funding may be secured, and it is your responsibility to investigate what impact your sequence will have on your eligibility for funding.

If you have any questions, visit the Financial Aid website or contact Service Laurier at servicelaurier@wlu.ca.
